GAMIVO has just published its financial statement for the second quarter of 2022. The company reported a turnover of PLN 56.3 million, revenues of PLN 10.7 million, and a net profit of PLN 2.9 million. All these ratios have increased, which proves that the strategy aimed at improving profitability implemented by the company has been bringing the desired results.
At the beginning of the year, GAMIVO announced that it would focus on increasing profitability. The measures introduced for this purpose are yielding the expected results. This is proved by the results for the first quarter when GAMIVO reported a profit of PLN 1.56 million. This outcome was significantly higher than the one achieved in the last quarter of 2021. It’s a noticeable accomplishment as the holiday season is the most fruitful period for the video game industry.
The results presented in the report for the second quarter of 2022 confirm that it was no coincidence, and the company managed to sustain this positive dynamic. Compared to both the first quarter of 2022 and the second quarter of 2021, GAMIVO increased its turnover, revenues, and net profit.
In the second quarter of 2022, GAMIVO reported the following results:
- Turnover: PLN 56.3 million (approx. EUR 12 million) – an increase of 7% QoQ and 19% YoY,
- Revenues: PLN 10.7 million (approx. EUR 2.9 million) – an increase of 5% QoQ and 18% YoY,
- Net profit: PLN 2.9 million (approx. EUR 0.6 million) – an increase of 85% QoQ and 77% YoY.
Importantly, April, May, and June lacked any major video game releases that could stimulate the market and boost sales.
“It was a vital test of the solutions we implemented this year. Apparently, everything worked perfectly, as, despite the lack of new AAA releases, we increased our turnover, revenues, and net profit,” stated GAMIVO CEO Mateusz Śmieżewski.
The company intends to continue the execution of its strategy and consistently implement planned solutions. In conjunction with video game releases scheduled for the coming months, it may blossom with even better financial results.
