It would not be an exaggeration to say that video games are to South Koreans what football is to Brazilians. According to estimates, the Korean video game market will be worth more than $18 billion next year. Therefore, GAMIVO is actively trying to attract users from South Korea. A new language version of the platform has been launched precisely to achieve this goal. 

South Korean players already constitute a noticeable part of our customer base, but at the same time, we are aware that the language barrier is what makes many people withdraw from using the platform. It’s about to change; they will be able to use GAMIVO in their native language. The Korean language version fits perfectly into the company’s strategy, including business scaling. With the addition of Korean, GAMIVO.com can be browsed in eight languages. These are:

  • Korean,

  • Polish,
  • Portuguese,
  • Italian.

It’s possible that the existing catalog of language versions will be expanded. Up to this moment, GAMIVO boasts almost 4 mln registered users from all over the world. The customer base is mostly from Western Europe and the United States, but some Asian countries, such as South Korea, stand out. In 2021, GAMIVO.com users generated a turnover of 201 million PLN. The company also recorded PLN 40 million in net revenue.
