2022 was an excellent year for GAMIVO, but company representatives made no secret that they still see great potential for growth. The first-quarter results presented on Monday are clear proof of these words, as GAMIVO once again broke its records in terms of net profit, revenue, and EBITDA.
On Monday, May 15, GAMIVO published its financial report for the first quarter of 2023. It shows that the measures taken by the company have enabled it to achieve historic results.
- – Turnover: PLN 56 million (up 5 percent increase YoY),
- – Revenue: PLN 12.4 million (up 21 percent increase YoY),
- – Net profit: PLN 3.5 million (124 percent increase YoY),
- – EBITDA: PLN 4.3 million (an increase of 82 percent YoY).
The excellent results result from the company’s focus on automation, scaling the business, and optimizing marketing channels. The fact that several important premieres appeared at the beginning of the year. Their sales potential was skillfully used by GAMIVO.
Hogwarts Legacy in particular is worth noting. Since this game was set in the Harry Potter universe, thanks to its popularity, it broke the platform’s record for the number of pre-orders.
In the first quarter of 2023, GAMIVO also ran a number of campaigns with well-known partners such as PayPal, Wargaming, and Żabka. The platform’s social media presence and collaborations with game content creators were also developed. In addition, automatic customer verification with the Sumsub platform was implemented, allowing the growing number of users to be served much faster. By the end of the first quarter, there were almost 4.8 million users on the platform.
Plans for the coming months
In the coming months, GAMIVO plans to focus on activities aimed at expanding its customer base. This is why expanding cooperation with affiliate networks and developing the API to integrate GAMIVO with external applications and services are high on the priority list. There are also efforts to improve the user experience, including the purchase and checkout processes. In addition, customers can expect further marketing campaigns with existing and new partners, such as Coca-Cola.
